I have a table with two cells on a row. One has only an input field. The other has input field and also something above it. The fields are vertically centered.
The result is not very pleasing for the eye as the input fields are on different heights. So I would like it changed so that the input fields coma aligned at the same level and the extra field is added somehow without affecting the level. How can I that best achieve that? The present situation looks like this: |

Is the table just used for layout? Then you could use a 4x4 grid instead, with the radio buttons in the top right cell (vertically aligned to bottom) and the text fields in the bottom row cell (vertically aligned to top).
Or do the text fields need to be verically centered? Then maybe it's better to use CSS positioning or similar instead of a layout table. |
