My name is Jaime Brodeth, I handle business development for PowerOn which launched a social networking site called http://www.gizter.com/fox. Gizter uses PHPFox 1.5.
Overall we are quite happy with PHPFox as our Gizter network has attracted over 16,500 registered members. However!!! We do have a major problem in that we are currently experiencing severely slow page load time even with hosting provided by http://www.rackspace.com/index.php. With an ADSL internet connection, it is taking as much as 3-4 minutes to load a single page! We are getting quite a lot of complaints from our members, which is translating into a reduction in members/total online; which is also resulting in significant revenue loss.
Our technical section has attempted to directly contact PHPFox Ltd. reference this issue, but as yet they have been unable address this problem.
In light of this we are seeking to immediately contract with a company/consultant who can troubleshoot our Gizter network software and also implement a solution as soon as possible.
