I am a 76 year old male had Cancer and lost a leg and I live in Australia.
I have just two Web sites. This is my hobby, I have purchased over the years Webeasy 6,7,8,9&10 9 & 10 were purchased from Avanquest on line and I still have all the details as they are still in my Avanquest online account.

A week ago I went to use my Webeasy and the following notice comes up.

"It appears that the serial number [A12C-0211-38HU-SDMY-D4XG-5K67] you selected when installing Web Easy Professional was already used. Therefore, this software cannot run with this serial number. For more information, please click here:
[/i]
[/b][/i]This shuts down my Webeasy and so I cannot use it? The only time I have reinstalled Webeasy 10 was when I replaced my Laptop with a desktop (I formatted the laptop and sold it 6 months ago) which was at least six months ago and I have had no problem in that time.
Why are they now somehow? remotely stopping use of Webeasy on my computer. I have tried contacting them with out reply!
Is there a way I can get the use of MY PURCHASED Webeasy 10 without re purchasing it?
I will be grateful for any help, thankyou.

Alas I don't think anyone here will be able to offer any help. I guess all you can do is keep trying to reach them. Is it long ago that you mailed them? You know, it being holiday season and so on. Something I guess you could try is to completely uninstall the program, install it again and see if it accepts the serial now.

Anyway, you aren't alone having this problem. Here's another guy in a very similar situation.

Thankyou for that pandy very helpful, now Windows 10 had a major update so I am thinking that that may have caused this to happen (as the other person updated Win7 and had same problem). Yes it was a bit close to xmas so I will wait a week or two for a reply from Avanquest as its not urgent just frustrating.

Found this in their manual. I guess you've reached your 'finite number'. That kind of licence sucks if you ask me.

ACTIVATION. The Licensed Software contains technological measures that are designed to
prevent its unlicensed or illegal use. The Licensed Software may contain enforcement technology
that limits Licensee’s ability to install and uninstall the Licensed Software on a machine to no more
than a finite number of times, and for a finite number of machines.

Have you tried if you can run any of the older versions? But maybe you haven't kept them.

I received an email form Avanquest as follows: Judging from the purchase date and the fact that you are currently on Windows 10, I assume you upgraded to it recently and while WebEasy was installed on your computer. If that is the case, you just corrupted the serial number within your Windows registry and that is why there is problem with the serial number.
To fix your windows registry you can try the following:
1. Close all Avanquest or Micro Application software.
2. Download the following patch :
http://fastcdn.avanquest.com/Patch_Serial_...n10MigPatch.exe
Run the patch, when the message appears click on OK.
3. Try running WebEasy 10 again.

YES FIXED thanks Avanquest
