Please i need a code which i can use to detect a visitor that is using vpn/proxy.

With great difficulty I think, after I googled it. There seems to be APIs and services though.

No idea. I didn't read the pages I found with google.

It won't happen with HTML anyhow, so I move this thread to server side scripting.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way to do it according to my research. Additionally, I checked few posts as well which said that it's not possible technically.

I sometimes use a VPN and if I happen to go to certain TV channels site to watch a show I'm greeted with the message that they don't allow VPN and poxy.

It could be as simple that there somewhere is a giant list of IP addresses used by such services. But it won't be complete.
