Ok, I have slowly, but surely, figured everything out and it is all coming together. I am missing two pages on my website. Saved the two I have no idea how to do for last.

So first, here is my website (it is still being tweaked):
www.simplybent.com

I use, godaddy. They have databases I can use there, but have never in my life dealt with databases or mysql. I need two, one page to be a forum or message board type of page. Where someone can leave a comment, and everyone's comments are always visible on the page. The other thing I need, is a request a page, where someone can go in and simply fill in the blanks. The blanks I would need are their email address, and name of a song they would like to hear. Then ofcourse, I need to be able to collect this information. If its too complex, I can skip this page altogether.

Anyway, I have dreamweaver, flash and fireworks. Any suggestions, help, direction you can give would be great. I am definately a beginner, but I am familiar with html. Would love comments.

Thanks,
Becca

What server-side programming mechanisms do you have available? PHP? CGI? ASP?

You don't necessarily need two databases just because you have two applications needing one. They can share.

It's likely you set the database up through a control panel. Log in to your CP and see if you can figure out how to do it from there. There's probably some kind of instructions.

Darin,
By the way, thank you for helping me earlier. I removed that index page and now have my site to go directly to the home page. I am also working on more text and cleaning and simplifying the site.

I have the economy plan from godaddy (link to it below).
https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/shar...amp;ci=260#tabs

It also comes with many free databases should I choose to use them, like these type of things, if your able to see this:
https://hostingmetropolis.com/Home.aspx

I also have something called form mail, but I just don't know where to go from here. What to read or learn. I am not afraid to to learn or put alot of work into this, I have self taught myself everything so far, but I desperately need some direction on how to do this, where to learn about it.
