Is there a Java image uploader that I can download onto my site for free?

Have you googled for it yet, using "javascript image uploader"?
I got over 7 million results in 3 different languages (EN, NL, FR).

Sorry about that, as many often mean Javascript while saying Java.

Nevertheless, even when googling for "java image uploader", I get more than 6 million results. Surely one of them will be of help.

Well, CodeKing wants help in filtering the results, don't he? So I wrote that small piece of software named "Give me two out of six millions" and it came up with two (2!) results:

http://www.scriptdungeon.com/script.php?ScriptID=869

Hope that helps.

What does a Java image uploader do that a form doesn't?

I just downloaded the free version of that. It's a java front-end to either a PHP or perl upload handler. In fact, you don't even need the java, it's just there for looks.

You can merely load the .cgi file, set it to 755 and the associated html file and off you go, no java needed.

Pfft, I'll stick ot ftp personally.
