Hi,
1. I need to share HTML file on GoogleDrive and have a problem...

I saved Word file as HTML in a new folder My_PAGE (got HTML file and folder with files for it inside).
Clicking HTML file I have beautiful web page in Edge.

Next step: I uploaded My_PAGE folder to GoogleDrive. Shared it.
When open the link in EDGE I get code of the page in text format.

HEEEEELPPP smile.gif. What should be done for fixing the problem?

Thank you.

2. My final goal is to create QR code with the functionning link.
But I am far away from that... I need help for point 1.

Do I understand it right that you open the html page from Google Drive? I don't use Google Drive, so I don't know, but that could be the problem. Maybe Google doesn't want you to be able to host web pages there and serves html files with the content-type text/plain. In which case the browser does right in showing you the markup instead of interpreting it.

But as said, I'm just guessing.

After my searches... you are right. Google not supports html opening from Google Drive from 2019 (something like that).
I created PDF from which links are functionning. And then created QR. It works but first pdf is offered to be downloaded and then opened.
Which is really pitty...

I tried MS OneDrive looks the same. And the reason exactly what you are suspected...
May you know sharing platform from which html will be opened without probs. I have just one page.

Thank you.

so it asked to download and then open the file...

just created QR with the link to google drive and it works as charm...
Tried from different phones.

Any web host. There used to be oodles of free hosts, don't know about now. Your ISP may even provide you with some web space already.

Good idea... may ask. But it looks just perfect. Finally, the method is not important - the result ... yes smile.gif
