I am trying to make this website more interesting, and have created a more creative header. The header is just one graphic and I now need to make the sections that are links into individual links. How do I do that? Do I break the image into an inner image for each link, with the main image having transparency where the links are?

The new web design is here My Webpage

If you click on the text at the bottom "back to other points of interest" you will go to a page with the older heading design - boring I think.

In this case I think you should since it's easily done. The other option is to use an image map.

I just want to add that there's no way to know that text is a link... If a link underline is out of the question, at least add an arrow or something. wub.gif
