What is the easiest way to redirect a Yahoo Small Business website to a Vistaprint site?

Would a 301 redirect be best? The shortest amount of code or steps is preferable. I am trying to help someone that isn't tech-savvy and I want to help them but I don't want to become their default techie.

Has the site moved permanently? If so, then 301 Moved Permanently is appropriate.

If the move is just temporary, then 307 Temporary Redirect would be more appropriate.

I believe they intend on it being permanent but would like to have the option of commuting it back, if necessary for some bizarre, unknown reason.

If they think it will be permanent (or at least, long term), then go ahead and use 301 Moved Permanently. If things change in the future, then they can change the redirects.

But pandy is right. It would be better to get a domain that can be hosted anywhere. Then you don't have to keep redirecting every time you change hosting services.

I cannot seem to find the correct code for this. I have two but neither is achieving the desired effect.

How are you doing it now?

Redirect headers can be set with server-side scripts, .htaccess directives or through web host control panels.
