HTMLHelp Forums _ General Web Design _ How can I remove bootstrap slogan from my website link

Posted by: sergioq Jan 3 2020, 11:43 AM

I had someone through me together a quick website since HTML is the one of the few things I really do not program. They did a great job, I have my menus, my CSS, and mobile versions.

But whenever my website goes out in a link on a FB message say it looks like this

Starter Template For Bootstrap

I have these three lines in my code

<link rel="canonical" href="">
<link href="" rel="stylesheet">
<link href="" rel="stylesheet">

Is there a way to rename them so they don't advertise every time I send out my website?

It won't be in the CSS. And you can see the template doesn't have it. It must either be hard coded in the HTML (the template has been altered) or injected by JavaScript. Can't say without seeing the actual page.
