Anyone heard of this thing? Tried it?

Supposedly it lets you see your page in IE6, 7 and 8 side by side. I hesitate to install it without knowing what it really is. It requires 1.5 GB diskspace (for what?) and having IE8 installed isn't mentioned in the requirements.
"...shows your web pages rendered in Internet Explorer 6 and either Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8, depending on which version you have installed on your machine."
See? I knew I wouldn't have to read all that myself if I posted it here. Still wonder why it needs 1.5 GB diskspace though.
I read about it on a list and those who had tried it were positive.
I used this for some tim http://browsershots.org/ and was quite satisfied.
Then I read what people on this forum have to say and now I don't need any compatibility checker
P.S. It's Microsoft's application, so 1.5GB is not that much
I loved browserpool, but it's gone. To be honest I'm getting tired of this all. I'll be using an Etch A Sketch from now on.
Why don't you use IETester?
But that's just a way to run the standalones, isn't it? I got the impression this thing offered more, but it probably doesn't then.
