Hello all,
I have embedded an .mp4 audio file into my web page using simple html. I have to keep track of the count how many times user played the audio file in one particular session? I s there any way that I could get the count number of times the file played? Please help me on this.

Thank you all in advance.

I can think of two ways, none of them involves HTML. The basic way is to use your server's log files and some kind of stats program since you hardly want to count the hits manually. To do that you must of course be able to access the log files. The other way is to link to a server-side script instead of to the mp4 file. The script would then redirect to the mp4 and increment a counter each time. There are ready made scripts like that at for example http://hotscripts.com . Some are quite nice with a little control panel.
