I'd like to be able to open a page divided into two which displays two separate sets of information, both of which are canned searches but are just URLs. The page should be opened from a click on some text.

Is this possible? If so, how?

Divided into two what? Pages? Sounds like frames.

Please see the FAQ entry How do I create frames? What is a frameset?

But also see the FAQ entry Are there any problems with using frames?
