I'm looking for a free web host that has php. Does somebody know of one that is reliable? Also how many people would be able to visit a site that has 50 mbs of files and 5 gb bandwidth?

That depends. If every visitor is going to download all 50MB of data, then 100 visitors will use up your 5GB of bandwidth. If the average visitor downloads only 1% of the site's data, then it can support 10k visitors. YMMV.

the free hosts are very tricky. it seems ok but remember the free hosts reserver rights to scrap your website with no prior warning of any sort. one day you wake up and your website is gone and theres noone to blame but yourself for not reading the fine print.

bottom line , if you care about your content never use free host.
