I want to link my CSS file to my webpage but it's not working my CSS file is save as "styles.css.txt" which I suspect may be the problem but not sure how I can solve it.

This is what I entered in HTML

<link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

Go to the top of the page

If you can see the '.txt' part then just rename the file and remove the '.txt' part.
