[font=Comic Sans Ms][size=5]I would like help with the coding for placing a decorative image as the background then having the lighter area on top for your text and what not. I used to could do it, but for some reason can't make it work any more. Does anyone know what I am talking about *grin*. It is like a layered effect. Really an easy thing! Janna

See the FAQ How can I specify background images.
For the rest, do you mean something like Eric Meyer's CSS Edge or his Complex Spiral (links on the site)?
