Can I create a dropdown list, in which the options are acronyms or are anchored to another spot on the same page, if so could i do all 3?

No. The only content an option element allows is plain text.

But acronyms are plain text.
You can't with HTML, but you can with scripting. http://htmlhelp.com/faq/html/forms.html#form-navmenu You do mean the form thingie, don't you? And not something like this? http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish...pdowns/example/ |

Do you perhaps mean using forms for pull-down navigation menus to a named anchor?
This might be possible with javascript, though it's not recommended. I don't think you can use the form directly for navigation in this case, since that would produce a query string for each OPTION value ("?foo=bar" rather than a "#foo"). |
