I just validated the webpage I have been working on. It was all okay except the home page, because I put a slideshow on it. How do I still have the slideshow, but have it validate? http://www.yarbroughconstruction.net is the site (I'm sure you guys have already seen it a few times blush.gif ). Thank you for any advice.

Okay, I kind of understand that. How do I find out what to put for the data? It says a serialized form of an object that can be used to recreate it. I have it linked from youtube, but I can use the one on the computer, I just have no idea how to find the serialized form, I'm not even sure I completely understand that.

You might understand the attributes of OBJECT better from the HTML reference at http://htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/special/object.html.

I didn't play the YouTube movie but it does show up as it should (Safari/Mac). And the page validates. Good for you!

Plays fine in IE7 and FF3 Vista, but the content is shifted to the right, it goes over the right red vertical line.

QUOTE(stjepan @ Sep 1 2008, 06:28 AM) *

Plays fine in IE7 and FF3 Vista, but the content is shifted to the right, it goes over the right red vertical line.

How do I fix that? Should I add more right padding?

I'm glad it's working though. When I looked at that article, I thought I would never figure that out, but it was easier to understand when I started picking it apart and when I had the other page to look at too. Thank you again for the help.
