Hi,
I am working in localhost called u, the top folder under the c drive
I have set up folders called --Manage under the u folder
next levels m_people -----m_work under manage folder

I have a menu in manage folder.
I have a viewpeople.php in m_people
I have a viewwork.php in m_work
I have a addwork,php in m_work.

<p><a href="Adminmenu.htm?<?php echo( SID );?>">Back to Menu</a>
<p><a href="../ushowworks.php?<?php echo( SID );?>">Back toPersons</a>

The first line is straight forward and it works.
I would like to go up and down and accross while going up and down.
Thanks for any help.
Maybe I am just syntax stuck.
Jim

Strictly, "localhost" refers to a host computer in a network, not to a directory in the file system, but never mind...

You mean there is a toplevel directory u, and subdirectories like u/Manage ?

? What are the hyphens for (-- ----) ?
? Do you mean Manage or manage ?

Perhaps you mean "../u/showworks.php ..." ?
Or "../u/show/works.php ..." ?
