Hello, I want to add some UTF text into my php file but the text after when i save it looks like scrambled text nonsense.

Here is the part of my code:

CODE
<?php
defined('_VALID') or die('You shall not pass!!');
$seo = array();
$seo['index_title']        = 'utf-8 text in here';

Any ideas on what to do? Is there any command i can put like in html there is:

CODE
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

Thank you for your time.
