Hi I am working on a HTML table but no matter which method I tried, I still could not display the expected table as below. Can anyone help??

The margin of table is 100 px, the area of Col 3 is grey colour.

Why? People won't understand that the header is for the third column if you place it over the fourth column.

For example this CSS trick seems to work (google for more). But since it's just CSS, it will look like one single TH with just HTML. There is no way to do what you want with HTML.

I'd just use a background image for a diagonal line. Not sure about how best arrange the table cells though.

Are you thinking of those old CSS border tricks, pandy?
