Hey, Netscape was the best there was in those days.

I tried to find some kind of specification or description of the first JS version, but had no luck with that. But I found this rather interesting page.

I knew (or thought) it was originally called LiveScript, but I didn't know it was renamed twice. It was called Mocha first, then LiveScript. And there really was a connection to Java. I thought Java was just used as a buzzword.

And there is no use to google for LiveScript or Mocha, because modern languages have stolen those names. laugh.gif
