If I can change my email address on this forum to my Gmail account, I'll receive email notifications about replies.

That should be possible in the Control Panel, see if this link takes you there: https://forums.htmlhelp.com/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=08

Agreed, Christian. I changed my email address to a Gmail one and I'm still not receiving email notifications. Not impressed with this forum software.

Agreed, Christian. I changed my email address to a Gmail one and I'm still not receiving email notifications. Not impressed with this forum software.

There has been issues previously with notifications being delayed and then all sent at once. No idea why.

Also there are several subscription settings, that can be confusing:

- In the Control Panel there's subscribing to "any topic you start or reply to".

- In the Options menu of each topic, you can choose to "track this topic".

- On the entire forum's main page, the Forum Options menu lets you choose "Subscribe to this forum". Not how this one works though. unsure.gif

This is the most confusing forum software I've been involved with. There are two or three other forums I belong to that use this product. I'm not sure if I have the same issue.

On the other hand, I'm willing to check the site often after asking a question. Coothead solved an enormous issue for my band website and I'm eternally grateful.

How did you enable email notifications? By checking the box when you replied to the thread or have you enabled it globally for all threads you participate in in your profile?

Strange you have problems, because I get all notifications. But I have everything possible on. I.e. I've subscribed to all sub forums so I guess I wouldn't notice if a thread subscription malfunctioned. wacko.gif
