Isn't this "pre-scanning" meaningless? Why preload a page at all when you might as well use AVG as a proxy, but only once you've decided to view a page? The whole point in downloading all pages in the search result seems to be for the preloading "feature", not for security.

BTW didn't some other browser/addon let you preload pages from links on the current page a few years ago? Something like this: http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/operaStuff/me...ml#preloadlinks but I don't think that's the one I remember.

i use avg and its pretty good and it never prescans for me lol
