Hello,
I'm designing a layout for a musician, and if you take a look here, you will see a vertical scrollbar (vertical and horizontal in Mozilla) scrolling down to a blank area. How do I get rid of the scrollbars unless they're needed for a smaller resolution screen? Thanks for your time. |

Turning on borders and such, it looks like the DIV elements that contain the links have a width of 100%, which is normal. Then you position them to the right, which makes the right side extend further than the right edge of the available display area. Thus, the content extends beyond the width of the available display area, and the browser turns on scrolling.

Thanks for the quick response. That makes sense, but if I try to change the div elements, it throws off the whole layout. Any advice on how to keep everything looking the way it is but without the right align and the scrollbars?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. This post has been edited by A&J Entertainment: Dec 12 2006, 06:11 PM |

Since the whole thing is basically an image map anyway, why not just use an image map? Why use CSS to align linked images over the main image?
But if it were mine, I'd rework it to use normal text links, rather than images of text or image maps. |
