I am creating (modifying) a web page for controlling a cricket scoreboard I'm building, based on the info at https://buildyourownscoreboard.wordpress.com/ & based on this version of the software: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17tgmmwHGE2...iew?usp=sharing

As I understand the process, the HTML page creates the data, sendtoarduino.js & scoreboard.php between them send the data & save it as a data string called save.txt. This all works fine on my modified version.

There is a spectator scoreboard, & this is what I'm having issues with. There is a spectator.php file which seems to pull the variables & outputs them to a score.json file. They're then displayed in a spectator.html page

I have modified the original HTML page & have added 4 variables, runsreq, lastwht, pship, lastman, & everything works fine except that these additional variables don't get displayed in the spectator page, & I can't work out why.

I know a bit, but not a lot, and appreciate that anyone willing to help will need more info, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure the answer is fairly simple for someone who knows what they're doing wink.gif

Thank you for reading. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. To confirm, this is a not-for-profit project.
