Hi

I hope you can help. I am looking to upload HTML code to my marketing software. The company has added STRIPO as its template editor.

The platform allows me to upload the code that I created from the (View Page Source) option on the HTML file. Once I uploaded the file to STRIPO it flags a number of errors with the code and the preview pane illustrates that it still needs editing. The problem is, that I do not have the skills to amend the errors with the HTML code section of STRIPO and I can not amend visual errors within the preview pane. Is there any software that allows me to upload the HTML code to it but then allows me to amend the code through the preview section when updating the text and spacing? If you can tell me what you need to see from my screen I can send screenshots. If the only way to amend the HTML template is by amending the code, I can send you the error messages I have been given every time I try and save the template.

POST UPDATED - I have provided a screenshot of the Code and preview pane of the email template.

Also, if this is the wrong place to post just let me know I will delete it.

Many thanks

Gee Kay

Thanks

Would you know how I deal with each of these errors so I can save and send the email?

Maybe, if you show us the actual document. But I'm not familiar with the software you use and what requirements it may have, so can't help you with that. I have a feeling though that what you have is converted to HTML from an MS Office document by an Office program. Is that correct? If so there's probably a lot of junk in there that you could simply delete.

Show what you have and we'll see.

Try this online converter if pandy is correct and you copied your code from Microsoft Word.

I try to close the tags but it doesn't work. It just adds text to the top of my page. Can you see what I have done wrong?

I don't know what those warnings mean, but I can see you have oddities in your CSS.

QUOTE
CODE
font-family: "Open Sans"

You can't have HTML entities like "e; in CSS and the quote shouldn't be escaped anyway.

CODE
font-family: 'Open Sans'

QUOTE
CODE
font-size: 14.6667px

Fractions of a pixel is a little over the top and with that many decimals...

You specify A LOT. Do you really need to?
