I made a script I call Boxle. It gives the user unintrusive notifications. So if a user makes an error in a form they're filling out, one of these pops up. It requires no clicking to close, and fades away very nicely. It is entirely configuratible, and supports multiple sets of formatting for the notices. Right now it's in debug mode, so you get lots of senseless feedback and stuff like that.

Edit: I turned debug mode off

Another Edit: There's a bug in IE 7 that prevents the notifications from automatically closing, so debug mode will be on and off until I fix it.
