Is there a way to display a picture inside the title tags of a page code? By this I mean say a page is called: "Generic Page." I want to have it to display "Generic Page" with a smiley face beside it.
Through some research I've come under the impression that this can only be done with ico files? Can someone please clear up my confusion? How, if you can, can you display images in or along with your page title? |

Nothing other than HTML in the title tag however...Unicode 0x2639, 0x263a and 0x263b all display smiley faces...assuming the browser supports them of course.

Alright then. What about some pages where you can see that the internet explorer icon or whatever browser currently being used usually seen in the top left corner has been replaced by another picture? How is this done?

Whoops, I think I misunderstood you. You mean the iconized image of the browser? That's part of the browser itself and not changeable, AFAIK, without using some sort of development kit or altering the source. This post has been edited by Peter1968: Dec 6 2006, 02:27 AM |
