I have a selection of images to display in a window that pops up, using javascript from the main window. To view these images you need to scroll from left to right. This dispalys coorectly in Explorer and Netscape, both on Mac and PC, with only the horizontal scrolbars appearing. However in safari both vertical and horizontal scrollbars appear.

What do i need to alter in the code, html or javascript, that keeps the horizontal scrollbar but removes the vertical scrollbar.

This appears to be a common problem when viewing similar pages like this in safari.

Any simple solutions to this problem would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

It sounds like a browser feature that Safari users would have learned to expect. Why mess with it?

Maybe Safari thinks the page is too high for the window? Try making the popup slightly higher.
