Hello Again Folks,

It's hard to believe that I've had a website for 20 years and I'm having problems with what should be a relatively easy task.

Basically, I am trying to make a link to the middle of another web page.

I have made two links in this page https://www.1728.org/jump-to-middle.htm.
The first link which links to the middle of that page works fine.

The second link also located at https://www.1728.org/jump-to-middle.htm does go to another page https://www.1728.org/jump-to-middle2.htm but it only goes to the top of that page but not the middle.

How do I make that link go to the middle of that page?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

To make a link to website.com/page#position you need to put an id=position within the page. But on your "page2", instead of id=page2 you have id=#page2.

Hello Brian.

SUCCESSFUL!!!

Thank you VERY much!
I have an HTML book and I looked at a great many websites, none of which stated what you just told me!!!
Thanks for stating what I needed to do in plain English!!

It's great to know that when anyone is having trouble with a webpage, Web Design Group will find the answer!!
