Where did you put that? Don't know about EMBED, but with OBJECT it's border="0" and there is no padding attribute and if there is for EMBED I don't think 'false' is an accepted value. It would help if you could show us the actual page.

Are you aware that allowing PDFs to open "inside the browser" is a user setting? If not allowed I'm not sure what happens when you try to open several files at the same time.

One of my browsers silently downloads the files. They appear in my Downloads folder, but I don't get the normal pop-up when something downloads.

Another warns me that the site is trying to download multiple files and asks me to confirm the downloads.

Another doesn't have a way for me to turn off the automatic display of PDFs, but displays each PDF with toolbars above and to the left of the PDF.

Another gives me a normal download confirmation pop-up.

I denied the installation of Adobe's PDF plugin in my browser and use Preview for that. Some sites with embedded PDF tell me I don't have the plugin and thus show nothing. Most, even ones on Adobe's web site, show the PDF, but always with gray at the top and left, looking like borders, but to me that's the surrounding background color when I view PDF's in Preview. There doesn't seem to be a solution to eliminate that.
