Hello All, I am working on a project and I want to know which shows a major nesting error between HTML and XML. According to this post, HTML does not pose a major error if nesting is not followed accurately but not an idea about XML. Can anyone know about XML nesting?

In a browser on the web? Well, IIRC XHTML should not display at all if there are errors. That's what caused the total train wreck the was XHTML. People continued to write tag soup with some added slashes and served it up as HTML to avoid losing face when the page didn't display. They were even encouraged to do so.

HTML interpreters are very forgiving, extremely even. With XML it's the other way around. Do it right or you're out.
