Thank you in advance for anyone who can help!

I am trying to add photos/jpegs to the main page of my website: http://www.theaquabox.com (3 on the left of the main center section and 3 on the right of the main center section. On both sides, the new photos are intended to be on top of each other, from top to bottom, and not side by side.)

The person who originally designed this for me, used CSS style sheets.

I am a experienced novice somewhat comfortable using dreamweaver but I can't seem to figure out how to place the new photos as desired above, ...on sides of main section and top to bottom.

When I try to insert anything...image or table...dreamweaver wants to put it above the main logo on the page in the center.

How can I insert the pics on each side of the main section while keeping the 'center' section just as it is?

...if a table is needed, or adjustments to the CSS, or html edits are needed on the index page...please advise and I'll do as you say! smile.gif

Cheers...and thanks again!

This could force horizontal scrolling, but if it's only on the default page it's perhaps not so annoying.

It seems to be based on a table layout, so you could simply create two more columns on the sides and place the images in.

Can you make DW edit the current table? Then it should be simple to insert more columns. Just note that the current table uses three rows, so you may want to add a ROWSPAN attribute in the new column cells to circumvent that.

BTW, for your popups I recommend this approach so the links work without javascript as well: http://htmlhelp.com/faq/html/links.html#window-specify

Christian,

Thank you for your suggestions! I will try the things you mentioned tonight.

Your suggestion about the non javascript popup windows is very nice. I would definitely
like to remove the javascript code...at this point, and for now, I'll be happy just to get
the new photos up and not mess whats there up too badly!

Cheers!!!

Christian, re: http://www.theaquabox.com

I have tried to edit the table...have to say not really sure if correctly???...BUT...I was able to add 'columns' to each side and after inserting images into the table cells...(problem) BUT the overall layout (the center photo and links) became un even within my browser that is wasn't usable...basically it didn't seem 'right' as it does normally (adding images into cells and totally controlling the shape/layout in a browser)

Also...I couldn't find any info within dreamweaver about rowspan...I figure must be mistake on my part..

Do you have any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong or overlooking...?

Thank you,
JP

Could you post a sample of this?

Christian,

...since my last email...I have been able to add some additional photos in a table 'below' the
logo and text links...http://www.theaquabox.com

It seems to be the easiest fix for now...I'll add a link below the new photos on the main page with 'Christian'
as the text...that will take you to a version of the index page where you can see the problem that
I was having...I'll try and have it online in next 10 minutes...

Thank you for your advice and attention to my post!

Cheers,
JP
