Hi everyone, I'm trying to adapt this site to my needs

https://www.woodveyor.com/

I see that the classic lens with a search box is provided, but by entering words it does not search and find anything,

I guess the "hidden" part or link to something I don't know is missing, which allows him to search the entire site ....

I had searched the net, found some solutions like paid google (discarded) or free duck-duck which however leads nowhere (broken link)

Could you tell me what is missing and how to integrate it in practice?

It seems to be just an INPUT text field without a parent FORM element, so pressing the Enter key will do nothing (unless javascript takes care of it all, but I didn't find anything from a quick glance). Even with a proper form, you need a server-side script that handles the search query.

Seems Google's third-party solution is free (with ads): https://programmablesearchengine.google.com/ I suspect it will not use an HTML form.

If you want to create a database. It may be easier to find a service that crawls your site and does that bit for you.
