im doing a project on web desinging andone of the questions are what is the physical context of web pages?

The question doesn't make much sense. It could refer to the display environment (desktop/laptop computers with various sizes of displays, PDAs and other handheld devices, braille displays, speech output, etc.), but web pages don't always have a display environment (e.g., Google or archive.org), so the physical context could be an air-conditioned room full of rack-mount computers.
