Hi
I know, I know, I'm a newbie who's in way over his head, but I'd appreciate any tips. I made a very simple site for a friend using Photoshop CS2 automated galleries, then added some navigation to the top of each, and it displays just fine in Safari on Mac, but not in anything else... the content squishes to the top in the galleries in other browsers. I did some searching in previous posts here, but couldn't find anything relevant. If anyone's got a clue or two I would be really gratefull! Thanks for the reply.
I'll get to those errors, but the pressing problem is getting the gallery content to display at all. |

FWIW, I get blank windows (with three links at the top) when I follow the gallery links.

Thanks, Darin.
That's the problem. There's a table at the top with the navigation, but the content is compressing to the top of the page so much that it either doesn't show (IE) or is only partly visible (Firefox). Edit - OK, thanks to the validator I found the major problem. This post has been edited by ChuxMix: Mar 19 2007, 09:37 PM |

FWIW, I still get blank windows (with three links at the top) when I follow the gallery links. Not everyone has Flash enabled by default.

Thanks Darin.
I'm pretty confident that everyone in the target audience will have flash. How else can they send all those dopey greeting cards? |

I'd think that for a showcase site like this Google would be in the target audience, but maybe not.
I liked the pictures BTW. |

QUOTE I'm pretty confident that everyone in the target audience will have flash. I have Flash. I just keep it disabled unless I have a good reason to enable it. It takes forever to download, and is often used for annoying stupid web tricks. |
