 Web Easy Pro 10 won't open after reinstall, is there a registry fix? |

I have been using Web Easy Pro 10 for years. Recently I tied to open it and it did not respond.
Contacted Avanquest and they suggested installing and reinstalling which I did. Also win the Win10 patch and CleanWebEasy.bat. No success. When I click on the shortcut I get the spinning arrow and then nothing. I suspect it is a registry issue. I looked in hkey_current_users\software\avanquest and it looked pretty sparse. (screen shot attached). I thought that perhaps I could edit the registry to fix the error, but I don't know what it should look like. Could anyone tell me what I may be missing? Did the problems show up after the recent Windows 10 feature update (version 1803)? In that case you might try uninstalling that Windows update and see if that helps.
Personally I'd rather make the web pages with some other program, though. |
