Plz.. help me how to reset or refresh the visited links. i.e. as soon as we close the html file and then start afresh stilll the changed vlink color remains as it is. It does not change itself back to the orginal one

It isn't supposed to. How long a link stays visited is determined by the user's browser settings.

While what you want to to probably can be done, it can't be done with HTML and it would probably be highly confusing to your visitors as it deviates from the expected behavior.
