Does anyone else use the open source "office" software (particularly not the English version)? I do for some purposes, and get irritated by stupid American units all over the place. I read that "inches" is the default... but is this just for the English language version? Could I get rid of them by switching to Danish or something? Even if I find some menu setting for "unit" and change it to 'cm', then I still get A4 paper listed as so many inches long.

No, but I use SoftMaker office. It picks choice of decimal point from my location in spite of that my system language is English and I can't change that. You may know that in Sweden we us comma instead of period. If I specifically type period it of course isn't recognized as a decimal point.

And SoftMaker isn't even open source. Almost all open source programs I've used have messed up menus. When I install Swedish is forced. When I change some menu items most often is left in Swedish. It messes with my head.
