Hello,

I am using visual studio code editor for Mac and I entered a simple code:

CODE

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

<head>
<title>Learning HTML</title>
</head>

<body>
</body>

</html>

This is supposed to write "Learning HTML" on the google tabu instead it writes "index.html" ???

All help appreciated

I see nothing wrong with that. What's a google tab? Do you mean Chrome browser?

I don't have Chrome installed but I have several other chrome based browsers and it works as it should in them.

Did you copy the markup from your document and pasted it in here to did you type it? I'm thinking you could have a mistake in the real document that you maybe didn't repeat here.

No please, no videos. Just copy the HTML docuement, all of it, and and paste it in here. Or upload the file. There's a Browse button below the text are you write your post in.

Maybe the text is different in different browsers.

It works a little differently than usual here.

There are two steps.

1. Use the button and browse to the file you want to upload. You'll see the file name in the field beside the Browse/Choose button. Then click the button to the right where it says Add This Attachment.

2. Now it will turn up in a field below the buttons. You have to click the button to the right within that filed where it says Add into Post. The file, or a link to it, will turn up in your post where the cursor is.

I think this two-step process is because the attachments can be placed where we want them in the post. So it makes sense to first upload all files if there are several of them and then place them.

I'm sorry, I didn't see your last post until now. I don't understand. What does the video have to do with your problem?
