Hello,

I have a question I am having a hard time finding the answer to. Hopefully its a simple fix.

I have an index of PDFs broken down into 3 sections. At the top of the page I have 3 links that target down to anchors I have placed at the start of each section. If I click on section 2, I get section two, after that I scroll all the way down to section 3 and open a document in that section.

Now here is the question, if I click the back button to leave the document I have in section 3 it will take me back to the top of section 2. I understand why this happens, but how can I make the page go back to the previous location in section 3, is there a way to clear the target after it is clicked?

I need a simple solution that doesn't require anything server side, as this is all goes on to a cd.

Thanks for the help!

What browser and do yu have it configured to open PDFs "in the browser" (sounds like that)?. Can we see? It's a little hard to follow. But probably you can't do anything about it.
