Works for me too in Safari 5/Mac.

But looking at the code you posted, the opening A tag is missing a closing >.

Then, looking at the source of your online page, you use a frameset (one pointing to http://www.albertkinng.com/dibujocomics/index.html and the other empty) without the proper DOCTYPE for framesets.

And there I see:
<li><a href="#" onClick="MyWindow=window.open('http://dibujocomics.posterous.com','MyWindow'); return false;"><b><font color="red">MI BLOG</font></b></a></li>

which is correct. Although, the FONT tag is deprecated. Use CSS instead.

Anyhow, pass both pages through the validator (see the links on this page). And for your CSS, see these validation results: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validat...mics/index.html

Yeah, but it isn't the same code as in the real page, hence the LI code I posted that was copied from there.

Well, i tried and tried and because it wasn't working as you can see, I use other code to pop up a window instead of doing the same of the other ones. i use this code:

CODE
<li><a href="#" onClick="MyWindow=window.open('http://dibujocomics.posterous.com','MyWindow'); return false;"><b><font color="red">MI BLOG</font></b></a></li>

But if you find a way to doi it as it should I can delete that code and use the one that keep my codes simple as it was. Also I would loke to know why this happen? Just one link that wont work doesn't have any sense.

Now its working because I change the code and put another one that helped me to make it a pop up window. I wanted just to be the same as other links.

It wont let me click on it to launch even if it shows the page is under that link it wont open. So I change the code.

OK. So what Frederiek said still goes then. You had forgotten the closing > for the A tag.

The code I see in the online page is still the same as posted by me and again, later on, by the OP. And for me, the link opens in a new tab.

I'm starting to get confused as to what you are after. What do you want the link to do?

Open, like your other links, in the same window?
Then set the url in the href of the A tag. Only then, users will leave your page.

Open a new customized window with javascript?
Then go see this javascriptkit tutorial at: http://www.javascriptkit.com/javatutors/window1.shtml

As I understand it it's like this. The first markup Code_Cody posted is what he really wants (the image), a plain link. Since it didn't work he changed to the JS popup that did work. So what he needs to do now is go back to the first version, only mend the broken A tag you spotted. cool.gif
