Hi all!
I hope this question isn't too basic. I use an iMac, and every now and then I get websites that advise me that I need to install Flashplayer... is there a quick fix to this that I'm overlooking? |

At least you posted a couple of good links, so we forgive you.
Any idea if those Flash alternatives have the same same security issues as Adobe's? |

Nope. First time I've heard about them. But one would assume not. Or?
I didn't follow what happened with flash much. But isn't it odd they killed their baby? Was the security issues so grave that they couldn't be fixed? Flash was a pest on the web for a few years, but apart from that I rather liked what could be done with it. |

They SAY they are secure... I installed this for FF.
https://ruffle.rs/#downloads It works for the flash animations I can find on the web, but I can't play my saved files. FF just wants to download them or open them in another application - that can't run them, obviously. I'll try to embed them in a HTML page and see if that helps. But maybe it needs to be over http? |
