Is FBI still hacking users of Tor all over the world? You use Tor, don't you? I remember reading about some mass-hacking bill that empowered them to do that - and they did - a few years back, but haven't seen anything about it lately.

Is FBI still hacking users of Tor all over the world? Probably as many as they can. QUOTE You use Tor, don't you? Yes, especially for Google and Youtube. Besides the (hopefully) increased anonymity, it also prevents Google from returning "personalized" search results. Brave can also use the Tor network, but I haven't tried it much. Don't know if it retains Google data like vanilla Chrome. QUOTE I remember reading about some mass-hacking bill that empowered them to do that - and they did - a few years back, but haven't seen anything about it lately. No idea, but I'm sure such organizations do it wether it's legal or not. |
