I have a web page (Not on my site or mine) but I want to monitor it.
when it changes, I want to play an audio file as an alert that the page has changed. Open to any ideas. Joe |

Maybe you could monitor its Last-Modified HTTP header at regular intervals, say with a javascript on your own web page? Not sure of the details though.

One site suggested using https://www.google.com/alerts which apparently sends you an email when the specified page has changed. Then you may in turn configure your email client to make a sound.
