Full Version: MAC - Safari - drop down menu issue

On this web site that I built I have Mac users complain that the menu's under Kinfe Products and Industrial Products aren't working.

http://www.alcontool.com/

Now I don't have a Mac to check this out, but I did download the PC version of Safari and the menus are working for me. The menu works with a combination of Div tags, Javascript and CSS. I have validated the code both in html and css using the W3c's validator and I honestly don't have an explanation as to why Mac users can't see my menu.

So I was hoping some of you who have MAC's or who may have run into this before could enlighted me as to the problem.

Thanks smile.gif

Interesting. Of course the menu won't drop down when JavaScript is disabled/unavailable, but Opera will tab through the invisible links anyway.

They work fine in Safari b3.0 (build 522.11)

They don't work in Safari 2 and I don't know why. You might want to switch to a CSS menu.

Here's a bug in older Safari that I've encountered when making DHTML menus: http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:cZDIl...t=clnk&cd=4 (no idea if this is relevant but I'll post it anyway).
