Hi,

For those who have visited or are regular users of AOL (American Online) website; will have an idea about what I will like to design. Initial trial is formulated in the accompanying html-code below.

Within an html-code, I have 8 pictures, namely pic1.jpg, pic2.jpg, …, pic8.jpg. At a point in time, I will like one of them to be visible, while the rest are hidden. Each of the pictures will be display in sequence.

Logically, I assume all the pictures must manipulated by some logical script or function; since virtually the pictures occupy the same position on the website. One is visible at a time in sequence, just like the concept postulated at: http://www.aol.com

But I am having problem putting this concept into a code, i.e. script.

Please can somebody provide me with a working script/function-code. Many thanks in advance from Finland.

Hans Adamsson

Tervetuloa. smile.gif

You can find ready-made scripts like that quite easily. You can look at http://hotscripts.com or just google. If we assume you'll use JavaScript something like this should dig something useful up.
http://google.com/search?q=javascript+rotate+images
Many of them will probably be written to insert different images onload, so you'll have to check that.

How useful are these ready made scripts as far as functionalities are considered and the standards...???

What functionalites do you want more than the image swapping? That's usually all there is.

There isn't one script. There are many, in different languages. See the links in my post above.
