I was wondering how I would be able to insert a spread firefox button on my website that will only show up for IE users. Would it possibly have something to do with conditional comments or do I want to use javascript here?

So you think people are allowed to use Opera and Netscape 4? That's grand of you.
Yeah. Conditional comments would work. But this kind of messages are getting really old.

aggh! sorry I meant that I won't have the conditional comments for Safari/Opera/other browsers. Only IE will see the get firefox banner.

I think you missed my irony there, but never mind.
You can't target other browsers than IE specifically with conditional comments anyway. You can only distinguish between IE (or versions thereof) and all other browsers lumped together.

Ohhh. That explains a lot. Thanks.

Everyone should have Fire fox, its the best! Maybe your banner will help them!

Maybe they don't want to be "helped". Why do you want everyone to use the same browser?
