Okay... New to the site and I did do some searching and reading but I can't tell what exactly I'm missing in the code. Our site header seems to be broken into three seperate sections (leftbg.png, Rightbg.png and logo.png). We have been able to modify the images the way we think we want them but when we update the rightbg.png seems to just be a sliver of the image and it keeps repeating. What I would like is to combine the leftbg.png and the rightbg.png to be one image but I'm clearly not seeing where in the code to change. There are style sheets but have had no luck there either. Coding is not my thing obviously!

Anyone able to help... smile.gif

Thank you!

Code attached.

Could we see the actual page with images, style sheets and all? Have a URL?

Not sure if this is all of what you need... let me know if there are more files you need...

Thanks

I don't understand how you want to combine the images. How do you want it to look?

The leftbg.png doesn't look like it's supposed to be covered by the logo, with that curved end.

It would appear to me that the code is written in three different sections. The logo is a seperate piece of code with the background color set. The center section only is comprised of the curve and the third or (right side) is from the bottom of the curve edge to the edge. I was hoping to have just a simple top section of 800 x 180.

I think I found a work around for the moment by making the right image 274 x 180 it will just take more work in CS4 to get a refined product.

Am I making it more complicated than it needs to be? I would think that the code should have been a little more user friendly.... We had a developer working on the site for us but turned out the cost over runs were huge and we didn't end up with half of what we wanted or asked for. So, here we are trying to recall how to code is proving to be more than I care for. rolleyes.gif

Thanks!

I don't know. I'm still befuddled about how you want it to look. Sorry.

I've attached the three images that make up that top section of the site and those are what the code is looking for. I wanted to just have a single image that covers the entire thing and have the code call that image. I think though that I can design what i want for a header and then section it off to match what the code is looking for...

I already know the images that are there. You posted the URL. I don't know what you want it to look like. But if you want a single image, create one in an image editor. You can't make it act both as an inline image and s background image at the same time though. Was it me, I would keep the logo as an inline image.
